Market notes: the trouble with regulators

The new MifiD 2 regulations which mandate how investment trusts must measure and describe risk in their marketing documents are so ridiculous that they are an open goal for criticism. John Kay, the author, columnist and one time academic, was not going to waste such a golden opportunity to put the regulators in their place and speaking at the Association of Investment Companies directors' conference this week, he did not do so.
