Market notes: the big question to ask

Regular readers will know that I make a habit of following the thoughts and ideas of leading market participants for many years - long enough to form some tentative views about who is worth listening to, and who is not. Needless to say tracking someone's views is not the same as endorsing them. Nobody has a perfect track record and we are all susceptible to the dangers of groupthink. Indeed you can argue that it is more valuable to listen to opposing views - testing the strength of different arguments - than those that support one's own inclinations. With that in mind, these are some of the comments that I have picked up on in the last few weeks (many of which do however disconcertingly support my own thoughts at this stage).
